It was in 2012 I documented Bloodstock Festival for ThisIsNotAScene. There was something special with the place the first time I stepped on the grass. Moments got even better in 2013. Then, things began to change. Last year, before I was set to go home, I was asked to take a family portrait with Megadeth's Dave Mustaine after their set in 2014. I was a little starstruck, yet I couldn't see that pass. I still don't know how that happened! Then, I revealed my photos on my Facebook page and the response across the board had been brilliant.
To come to terms that I was asked to become one of the official photographers for BOA 2015, a dream was made reality! Looking back at these little beauties made me push into places I wouldn't thought possible and to work even harder to get the best images that I humanly can. It is safe to say I've had the time of my life [despite of it being a little cliche] and I would do it all over again within a heartbeat.
To the Bloodstock Family, official photographers Alison Richards & Fiaz Farrelly who made the experience wonderful, Cosa Nostra PR & AC Promotions for giving a flawless experience to all music/media folk, my top photography and review buddies old and new, pals I've seen on the fields, the perfect weather and the metal fans, thank you for one of the best moments that I will cherish for a lifetime in my photography career.
Now, onto shifting through 18K+ photographs whilst resting my near shattered being. Whoops! I can't wait to reveal the moments with you all. See you again in 2016! Keep it metal \m/
